Waffle Pods
Slab Works uses the industry leading Foamex Diamond PodsTM or "Waffle Pods".
Waffle Pods are a lightweight yet strong void former system for concrete slabs. Construction is quicker and more cost effective than traditional pours because less concrete is required and eliminates trench digging for beams. Good insulation is achieved because of the natural air pockets in EPS and the specially designed moulded cells within the Pod. With Interlock spacers the pods are held accurately and securely in place for the pour. The Pod system complies with all relevant Australian Building Codes and Standards. They are also suitable for use with any bracket and steel reinforcing mesh systems. |
